Shopping again☆
2004年8月16日 日常I enjoyed yesterday’s trip too. But when it comes to shopping,
it seems better to be with females.
Today, I went out with my mom and grandma. We didn’t go as
far as Osaka this time, but only around the neighbor
towns. Still we found many nice stuff there though.
And things are cheaper in these country towns.
That was good.
First, we came to a small fancy-looking restaurant to have lunch.
I had never been there before, but seemed like it was my mom’s
favorite place. Indeed, inside that small building had
nice looking and their lunch set was very good.
We had a fried bread(あげぱん), which used to be my
favorite menu in my elementary school lunch, for dessert.
Isn’t it uniquefor a restaurant to have this?
After that, I went to a department store to buy my underwears
and clothes. It was funny that my grandma recomended me
a water push-up pads for a bra...It is not an old person
is supposed to recomend to her grandchild, is it?(lol)
I like her having such a youthful mind.
Anyway, I got a shirt and a belt that I had wanted
for a long time, too. Clothes are cheaper here even than
the prices in America.
Then, we went to an another department store to buy clothes
for my mom and grandma. I tried to find something nice
for my mom, but it was a hard thing to do...because she
doesn’t have very nice body shape now....you should be on
diet, mom. I don’t want her to wear very old fashioned
clothes like a skirt with thin, smooth texture or a shirt
with flower prints. She should wear jeans as she always did
until now no matter how old she gets.
Since I went to America, my feeling like this has been
growing even stronger. Look at Imerda! and Julie!
How young they look in spite of their real age....
Old people in Japan also should be like that.
Should be active and youthful.
We had dinner in a Japanese restaurant. I had キツネうどん
and 炊き込みご飯. They were both really good.
After going back to my house, I put one of clothes I bought
today on and showed it to my brother. He just nodded and
gave me no comment as always. And my father just said
"That’s nice." .....See!? This is why we should go shopping
with females. Guys need to increase their vocabulary.
