Home Party.
2004年8月22日 日常Today, we had a home party, inviting my uncle, grandma,
Yuka-chan(my friend) and her brother, Masahiko(my brother’s
friend), and my uncle’s English teacher, John(British).
My mom made a lot of foods and my uncle brought his home-made
sandwiches, too.
By the way, Yuka-chan and Masahiko’s dad also has sixth
sense, so these sister and brother also have some sorts of
power to sense the existence of ghosts even though they
cannot actually see them. Hmm, why there are so many
people like this around us?(^^; I feel happy about it though.
It’s so fun to know about the another world.
Anyway, the party started at 7:00. My uncle forced me to
say greeting before the party in English...
I was embarrassed(///). John was very fluent in Japanese.
Good at writing kanjis too, I heard. Seems like he is a
really intelligent person in spite of his young age (23)
I talked to him in English, but I spoke back in Japanese..
so we just talked in Japanese after all(^^;
After eating, my parents brought a karaoke machine...
oh, my god. No young people wanted to sing, but adults
looked eager to sing. My brother and Masahiko escaped into
my brother’s room. Ah, smart kids. Adults sang old songs
happily and we were forced to sing some songs we knew..
John said he didn’t know any of songs on the list, and
ended up without singing. Huh, he must have been just
unwilling to sing, I guess. He said he didn’t know even
Beatles’ song. Aren’t you a British, man?
By the way, the English tea he gave us as souvnir was
really good. It seems to be true that British people always
drink black teas.
Ah, and Uiro that Sae-chan brought from Nagoya was also great.
Thank you guys.^^
After the party, Sae-chan, my brother, and I were chatting
in my brother’s room. Sae-chan taught us many things
about the another world. Great thing about her is not only
the power to see ghosts, but she is able to see even her
own incarnations and has friends from her former lives.
Transmigration is real, she says. It was so weird and
fascinating to hear things about the invisible and unknown
world. But I was happy as I became able to believe in
those things. It is happy for people to be able to believe
in something invisible, some existences which overwhelm
us with its unknown powers and limitlessness.
If the world is made of only what we see or what we can
prove to exist, oh, how much pain and desperation we gotta bear?
Thanks, my cousin.
